Interview With the Vampire
Although overly dramatic, Interview works well as both drama and horror. The tale of a guilt ridden vampire (Brad Pitt) also benefits from a star strung cast, as well as its strong Anne RIce source material.

Thirst
When a priest becomes one of fifty volunteers to find a vaccine for a deadly virus, he survives while the others perish. Afterwards, he must deal with his status as a miracle, his strengthened bodily desires, and most importantly: a thirst for blood. With these elements, director Park Chan-wook creates a first rate horror film, but also an engaging morality tale.

Let the Right One In
In this image we see the main character Oskar (front) being watched by his vampire friend Eli (back). Although they are friends you get a sinister feeling from Eli as you might expect. Their relationship keeps you guessing as it grows. Two parts drama and one part horror, this one is a must see.

Nosferatu
During Nosferatu a lot of the fear comes from the feeling that the titular vampire might be lurking around the corner; you sense he might be close even if he isn’t. A shadow on the wall really embodies that. Just like Jaws, the thrill comes from the suspense.
