Ghostbusters
What says Ghostbusters more than the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man? Oh yeah thats right, Bill Murray, and he’s in this still too. The film that introduced us to proton packs (also above) is arguably the best comedy of the 1980s, and possibly the greatest source of quotable one-liners ever.

Coffee and Cigarettes
Filmed entirely of conversations over you guessed it, this film features some interesting appearances from a wide range of celebrities. Watch anyone from Steve Coogan (pictured right), Jack White, Bill Murray, Alfred Molina (pictured left), and Cate Blanchett engaged in some off the wall conversations and vignettes.

Broken Flowers
This sublimely dry comedy from director Jim Jarmusch seeking the son he’s never known is also somewhat depressing and thematically confused. The star Bill Murray manages to express all of that with this single look above.

  Lost In Translation
This film’s beautiful cinematography and soft focus add so much to the already nuanced story. Although the movie is often hilarious, the relationship of Bob (Bill Murray) and Charlotte (Scarlet Johansson) is what sets this movie apart. The way they enjoy each others company and learn from one another is such a departure from the mostly physical relationships you see in media today. This photo really captures the essence of their friendship; close, yet restrained. Plus you get that classic Bill Murray forlorn look.

"The studios don’t seem to foster good writing. They’re not so interested in that, but they’re more interested in what worked most recently. They’re definitely very serious about making money, and that’s not a wrong thing, but you don’t have to make money the same way all the time."
