Breathless (Á bout de souffle)
The title for this film is perfect. After murdering a cop Michel (Jean-Paul Belmondo) spends the entirety of the film running and doesn’t even think to catch his breath. That is, until he has to, as in the still above. In between these two ends we are treated to fantastic acting, and are asked some major questions by director Jean-Luc Godard.
